I've shared on the Down To Earth Forum (but not with the general public until now)...
We are thrilled to announce that we are going to be Grandparents for the first time! Our eldest son, Mitchell and his wife, Kelsey are expecting their first child in November.

The happy couple is working hard to get ready for the baby and we are so proud of them for making wise financial decisions. They are saving to buy a house and hopefully will able to do so sometime in 2013. Meanwhile, they are living in an inexpensive 1 bedroom apartment to try and funnel as much money into the downpayment fund as they can. Instead of a big wedding, they opted to elope in December in order to put that money toward their house savings. SO wise - they will never regret that decision.
Mitchell is finishing his 3rd year of schooling/training (he is an Electrician) and Kelsey is working full time now that college is finished for the year. Such exciting, happy times ahead for them and our whole family - we are so fortunate to be living close enough to share in these wonderful moments.
I can hardly wait until November when I get to meet that sweet new baby...
Celebrate with me!
