They feast on our native flora we have planted around here. We were only talking today about whether we might get a couple of hives and grow our own honey :)Taniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10176661940614462611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598627963589889513.post-76177720585695283702014-09-12T03:09:02.234-07:002014-09-12T03:09:02.234-07:00We seem to have carpenter bees which love certain ...We seem to have carpenter bees which love certain parts of our fence, but they are also very busy in the gardenLilbitbrithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09477302589982766792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-598627963589889513.post-41854340019468043632014-09-03T03:21:40.005-07:002014-09-03T03:21:40.005-07:00I was truly surprised at the bees this year in my ...I was truly surprised at the bees this year in my "new" garden. They don't seem to mind my camera....they just go about their work, ignoring me. So when you describe the size of your flying neighbors,… it would be horror for him! We also see, on occasion, Native Bees. Around here though, wasps are major pollinators. And perhaps b/c I'm not working to encourage any one type of pollinator, I see lots of all kinds. Right now, its the water everyone wants!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
